How do you learn to swim? How do you learn to have a great relationship with Jesus? The answer: discipleship. Most Christians haven’t been discipled. Nor have they discipled anyone. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples.”

If while learning to swim, you were thrown into the deep end of the pool and managed to get to the side of the pool, perhaps you wouldn’t see the need for swimming lessons.

What about those who don’t make it to the side of the pool?

Too many Christians, having never been discipled and having been thrown into their faith without guidance, do not see the need for discipleship.

What about those who walk away from the faith?
